developed into an economical entity with chemical industry taking the lead. It is composed of 9 enterprises, which include 2 Sino-foreign joint ventures. Its fixed assets amount to RMB 250,000,000.00, with RMB 75,000,000.00 of circulating capital. It has become one of the first batch of ¡°National Township Groups¡± awarded by Ministry of Agriculture of the People¡¯s Republic of China. And it has been awarded many times with such honors as ¡°Star Enterprise¡±, ¡°Civilization Unit¡±, ¡°Grade AAA Credit Enterprise¡±, ¡°Township Enterprise with the Highest Profits and Taxes in China¡±, ¡°Top 500 Industrial Enterprises upon Comprehensive Evaluation in China¡±.
After being restructured, the corporation now administrates Liyang Liqiang Cement Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Liqiang Chemicals Co., Ltd. The main products and their annual output capacities are: common Portland (silicate) cement 600Kt/a, phenolic aldehyde molding compound (i.e. ebonite dust or bakelite powder) 25 Kt/a, amido molding compound (calicot powder 25Kt/a, formaldehyde 100Kt/a, and urotropine (hexamine) 4 Kt/a.
The corporation occupies a land area of 540,000 sq.m. and a building area of 110,000 sq.m and has overall 1,200 staffs, 285 of whom are technical and engineering persons.
The corporation boasts a strong technical capacity, complete inspection and testing means for various products and sophisticated and advanced equipment. National standards and advanced international standards are applied to the main products, which guarantees their stable and reliable qualities, ranking the front places in various appraisals. Grade 32.5 Portland (silicate) cement has passed the National Product Quality Certification twice.
The main products such as bakelite powder, calicot powder and Grade 32.5 Portland cement were awarded ¡°Jiangsu Excellent Brand Products¡± and have passed ISO9001: 2000 Quality Certification.
The corporation is situated in the west of the Yangtze River Delta, boarding Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces and enjoying advantageous geographical conditions. |
